Daddy Yankee is the stage name of Ramón Luis Ayala Rodrguez, a Puerto Rican singer, composer, and rapper. Music reviewers and fans alike refer to him as the "King of Reggaetón." He started singing and rapping at 13, right when the rap scene began taking root in Puerto Rico. At only 21 he launched his own label called El Cartel Records.
