Ivory Latta is a two-time WNBA All-Star for the Washington Mystics. She originally joined the Mystics in 2013 and made back-to-back All-Star squads. From 2010-12, Latta played for the Tulsa Shock. She also spent two seasons with the Atlanta Dream. Latta was originally selected in the first round of the 2007 WNBA Draft by the Detroit Shock. She has spent significant time as a professional playing overseas as well. Latta played four seasons of college basketball at the University of North Carolina and averaged 16.6 points per game. In 2006, she was named the Nancy Lieberman Award and the ACC Player of the Year. Her #12 jersey has been retired by the Tar Heels. Latta also ranks as the all-time leading scorer in South Carolina high school basketball history with 4,319 points.
