At the age of six, Matteo Ivan Rašić joined the Wiltener Sängerknaben, where he received his first singing lessons. As a boy soprano, he performed as a soloist in numerous concerts and at the Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck, e.g. in the opera »The Cunning Little Vixen«, and interpreted songs and arias from »Der Vogelhändler« and »La traviata« on tours in China with the Wiltener Sängerknaben.

From 2018 to 2023, the tenor studied singing at the Tyrolean State Conservatory in cooperation with the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and, since 2019, instrumental and vocal pedagogy with Johannes Stecher at the Mozarteum Salzburg. He also attended master classes with Brigitte Fassbaender, Karlheinz Hanser, Thomas Hampson and, as a scholarship holder of the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce, trained with Vesselina Kasarova, Linda Watson, Robert Holl and Stephan Matthias Lademann, at the Eva Lind Music Academy. British sprinter (born 1974)

Iwan Gwyn ThomasMBE (born 5 January 1974) is a Welsh sprinter who represented Great Britain and Northern Ireland at the Olympic Games in the 400 metres, and Wales at the Commonwealth Games. Thomas is a former European, Commonwealth Games and World 4 × 400 metres relay champion.

Thomas is the former UK 400m record holder, with his time of 44.36s set in Birmingham on 13 July 1997 standing until Matthew Hudson-Smith broke the record in May 2022. He was also a member of the team which held the European 4 × 400 m relay record of 2:56.60, set in Atlanta, USA in the Olympic final on 3 August 1996 until it was broken at the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Thomas's coach for much of his running career was Mike Smith, formerly coach to British 400 m runners Roger Black, Todd Bennett and Paul Harmsworth also hurdler Kriss Akabusi. Thomas was made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 1998.

Iván Díaz

Bio

Born and raised in Colombia, Javier Iván Díaz is an influential singer and contemporary Catholic composer of bilingual and Spanish-language music. A composer from the age of 17, he has a masters degree in choral conducting as well as a bachelor of arts in music. While he began his college career at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia, Iván later moved to the U.S. and completed his studies at Florida Atlantic University.

Iván has served as the choir director of NCYC (National Catholic Youth Conference), music director of the NCCYM (National Conference on Catholic Youth Ministry), and as a high school choral director. Songs from his first album, Honor y Gloria a Él, are included in several OCP collections, including: Bendito, Bendito; Entre Tus Manos; and El Señor Nos Invita vol. 3: Songs for Lent, Easter, and Pentecost. His most recent collection, Nuestra Alegría/Our Joy, contains Spanish and bilingual versions of English-language favorites, serving as a musical bridge for Hispanic and multicultural communities.
